Yeah, he got robbed a bit, he definitely set the tempo. The thing with Hendo is I doubt he cares much about MOTM and will be happy that Mo got it.

But as Frank says MOTM performances all over the pitch last night. The first 20 mins was a full on assault on the Everton goal and we could easily have been 4 nil up. It was amazing to witness us in full on, all guns blazing, in for the kill, total football mode

All bodes well for the remainder of the season, we are improving as the season progresses.

Got to say, what a pull back from Robbo

True, although it was intended for the run of Mane.

Page 4 which pretty much says it all.

Hendo has been miles off his best. But. Tonight - Getting dropped - allowed him to come on and show his quality. He and Naby wrestled control back from Inter and gave us the platform to win.

It’s a squad game, and he won’t always be the first name on the team sheet, but tonight showed what experience he has now.

We will need plenty more of that from Hendo either from the start or off the bench.

He has that ability and drive, but its painful to see him waddle around when hes off form.
Tonight he has taken the hint and really shown some grit.

10 weeks since he did anything of note maybe?

He did do well when he came on and did change the game imo. Inter were also knackered when he came on so his energy was well needed. I think the removal of Elliot was huge as he really struggled to give us anything during the game. I thought Hendo took control of the midfield and his passing was quick and precise which was exactly what we needed to be effective in possession. Up until then we were giving the ball away so cheaply.

Was a nice cameo but he has ben well off his game for awhile now, hopefully being dropped was the kick in the balls he needed.

I think maybe the 6 role suits him better than the 8 nowadays. He's been all over the place in the 8 lately, so perhaps as he gets older keeping it steady and simple in the 6 should be his role. That makes him understudy to Fab, but given Fab hasn't really had an understudy then that's fine by me. We can rotate in every single position now, bar RB.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Was instantly noticeable how much better he was playing in as a CDM.

No cover for Trent is definitely an issue. I think Milner is the best option for now.

We're upgrading every aspect of our team and adding depth but we still have no decent option as rb cover...
No way should milner be considered as rb/lb cover ever again.
Our defensive high line means we need a bit of pace going forwards and backwards, and milner has non. He will give away cheap fouls for fun.
not sure if timmy is an ok option, but must be better than milner

Some pass from Hendo. Back to back solid performances at CDM. Great to see.
