Hendo has been really good recently and us being able to manage his game time definitely helps. He came on in both legs of the CL tie and made a massive contribution. On form his presence is calming on the entire team.

He offers nothing really if you discount him being a very decent bloke off the pitch and very influential on the pitch when not ran into the ground.


Would love us to bring in a younger model in the summer and then use Henderson as the new Milner.

Think with a more managed schedule and being in more of rotational role would see a much fresher Henderson whenever he got used.

I do think we will see a Henderson replacement or like for like brought in the summer. Personally I think 2 CM's would be nice. Hopefully we'll sell Keita to fund it

I also saw you mentioned about Hendo coming on to settle things down last night and he did that albeit Inter were down to 10 men by then.

He definitely dipped just before Christmas and it was for sure down to us having him play too many games.

Good to see him back to near his best.
