He picks up injuries on a regular basis. His first responsibility should be the club, especially after the extended contract. I know he's proud to represent his country but he should be seriously considering knocking it on the head.

Totally agree. Can’t see it happening before the WC though.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostHe picks up injuries on a regular basis. To be fair he is showing good form for Spurs when the level of opposition is similar i.e. the Europa conference or whatever it's called.Originally posted by SB View PostBut on a brighter note Harry Kane, England's talisman scored 4 goals against the might of San Marino toads to his 3 the other day. How Tottenham could do with a bit of that from him.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Kane will point out to his kids/ grandkids in years to come that he was the top scorer for England while they ask “ how many Premier League titles did you win Poppy”?Originally posted by frank the tank View Postmaybe he has found his level?Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I mean I know you can only beat the team that is in front of you but look at where he's got his goals: 42 in 'competitive games': 5 against San Marino, 4 each against Montenegro, Bulgaria and Albania, 3 against Panama, 2 against Lithuania, Malta, Tunisia, Kosovo, Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine and 1 against various other sides. Probably 25-30 of his goals have come against with all due respect teams who have no chance of qualifying. There are a few against some of the decent level teams and hardly any against what most people would consider top sides at least in competitive games.Originally posted by SB View PostI think Frank’s onto something here. I literally couldn't give a **** if Kane bagged a century of games in an England shirt. Couldn't give a **** when / how / if he beats Rooney's tally.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI mean I know you can only beat the team that is in front of you but look at where he's got his goals: 42 in 'competitive games': 5 against San Marino, 4 each against Montenegro, Bulgaria and Albania, 3 against Panama, 2 against Lithuania, Malta, Tunisia, Kosovo, Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine and 1 against various other sides. THE only time International footy becomes remotely interesting is deep in the Euros or World Cup - complete waste of time other than that.
I'd be happy if international footy was totally canned tbh.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1
