Think he was eligible for about 5 countries but would have needed several years of residency to have actually qualified to play for England. Think that may have got overlooked by some of the media outlets.

      Ah right.

Hopefully they all stay the **** away from him anyway. Especially England while Bodge is in charge!

Such a shame as he was spinning up to speed. Maybe we should look at it as a positive that a small time away from the limelight will help him become more rounded as a player. Plus I think itll stop any early overuse by England or something.

Good think we have some strength in depth now, so he can take his time and come back fully fit.

He's only young so will probably be a quick healer. If he's back in 3 weeks he'll only miss 4 games. It's 20 days until the United game so there's an outside chance he'll make that. If not he should be back for the Arsenal game on April 2nd.

He's cup tied anyway so hopefully it's just Burnley and Swansea. Would love to have him available for Man Utd.

Gutted. Hopefully we're nipping it in the bud and it's not going to be a long term issue.

Agree. No point in rushing him back & paying for it long term. A good preseason & I look forward to seeing him in Oz in July.
