No there wasn't, that "leak" was proven to be complete bull**** and made up by some random website (which even now admits it was taken from unofficial sources and isn't accurate)

Borini was widely reported to have rejected double his current from QPR and apparently wanted triple. Now he may think he's better than he is but if he rejected £120k and asked for £175k I'm the Queen, King and all the little princes of Sheeba put together.

Much more sensible, he is on about £30k, was offered £60k but wanted £90k, as was reported in the media at the time.

Coates is not remotely going to be on £50k either, as I said in the other thread his salary on signing was widely reported to be around €1.5m/year, so about half what you quoted.
So what you're saying is, the leak was bull****

but then you're pulling figures completely out of the air when you have no idea either

Also, if Ibe was really a top prospect, then he would want to leave too. So he must be ****e.......which is why he stayed......

          Its the ultimate catch 22....

Madness isn't it. People are so desperate to throw **** at the club that they'll even latch onto spurious reports from the ****ing Sun to get their ammo.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I thought his parents were his advisers?

Yes, but putting "the club agreed a deal in principle with his parents" makes him sound like part of the under 11 setup.

A good chunk of them are ironic.

I know they were, but they feed into the negative perception that the club is totally useless. Its not, we are growing. Just not as fast as people want us to be.
