No there wasn't, that "leak" was proven to be complete bull**** and made up by some random website (which even now admits it was taken from unofficial sources and isn't accurate)


Borini was widely reported to have rejected double his current from QPR and apparently wanted triple. Now he may think he's better than he is but if he rejected £120k and asked for £175k I'm the Queen, King and all the little princes of Sheeba put together.

Much more sensible, he is on about £30k, was offered £60k but wanted £90k, as was reported in the media at the time.

Coates is not remotely going to be on £50k either, as I said in the other thread his salary on signing was widely reported to be around €1.5m/year, so about half what you quoted.
