With that poisonous **** Sterling going we don't have too many pacey and direct players capable of beating a man, Ibe is one of those players and given the opportunity he's got just as much potential as Sterling. I think he'll be a vital member of our team next year

Massive opportunity for the lad now that Sterling is leaving, and I believe he really is going to shine this season

Got the next few days off. Looking forward to some preseason streaming. Specially as Ibe and Origi are on show.

Personally he has better skill set and is more technically polished than Sterling.

Will he be a better player time will tell.

If BR has no real plans for him this season like to see him go on a season-long loan.

He should be a big part of our plans this season once we off load some of the dead wood

                        We'll see.

We have potentially 5 players that we could use wide so his minutes could be restricted.

Wide with pace? I'd say Orighi & Markovic fit the bill there. Who else are you considering for out wide & it depends on the formation I suppose?

                            Yep.

In addition to the ones you mentioned we could also use Lallana and Milner wide.

Both are more suited to central roles IMO due to their lack of pace. I'm not saying they're immobile but the other 3 offer genuine pace.

I sincerely hope we never see Milner wide as an out and out winger, the guy has absolutely zero pace and whenever he's picked in that position to me I see it as a negative selection and more for his defensive contribution than his attacking prowess. I'd rather let teams worry about us as opposed to the other way round. I'm not a Milner fan at the best of times but seeing him out wide would tip me over the edge
