The presence of Ibe and Coutinho should either make or break Sterling - either he steps up to the plate and fulfils his potential OR he drops down the pecking order.

Amazing, played one game in the PL and he's ready for the league whereas Sterling who played 25 games for us isn't.

Both have great potential for us but Sterling is still well ahead of him for me.

I don't think anyone said that.

Comparisons are made between him and Ibe because of similar age and similar skill set but by no means anyone meant to write Sterling off.

Personally it is great to have 2 young kids who look very promising and could sort out our wing options for a long time.
