P.S. Didn't want to start a new thread but perhaps mods can move this existing one into Liverpool FC section.
Thanks Mos. the lad has skill doesn't he.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Probably mentioned elsewhere, but how old is he? Got a lot of confidence in himself for a lad of what, 18?

He won't be 18 until December.... Also, he is the youngest goal scorer in the history of the football league - having scored for Wycombe when he was 15....

I think it is very exciting to be honest....having players such as Sterling, Suso, wisdom, Ibe, Sinclair, McLaughlin all ready to knock on the door.... What makes this more exciting is that players like Coutinho, Henderson, Shelvey, Allen, Sturridge are all young players as well....also hopefully we sign the likes of Papadopolis and Eriksen this summer too......it will be an exciting few years ahead.... I'd love to see us play some league 1/2 team in the carling cup next season witha team like Reina, McLaughlin, Wisdom, Agger, Robinson, Gerrard, Coady, Ibe, Suso, Sterling, Sinclair

None of those players in that team are a proper striker? Definitely need a Sturridge in there or Suarez

Mostar you are a ledge man!!!

What do you think of Ibe??? I hope the fact that Sterling is too close in age and playing ability does not hinder his development. I wonder will be go on loan......someone like Wigan would be a good move.

I reckon an attacking 3 of Sterling Coutinho and Ibe all behind sturridge in about 3 years time would be amazing.....

He is ready now and too good to go on loan. Will make a first team impact on the PL this season IMO.

as things stand i would pick him a head of sterling, hopefully the break sterling had at the end of the season will have done him some good but he did go off the boil.as for ibe he just seems more composed on the ball to me than sterling and and defo more body strength.
                          who's arsed?

I disagree. Sterling has done his apprenticeship last year (& deserves a start) & Ibe will do the same this year IMO. They will both possibly see game time this year or Ibe may be sent on loan till Xmas.

I've got really high hopes for this lad, we need players like him to break through and make an impression on the first team if we can't buy the talent. His mentality looks spot on, he's clearly got ability and physically he's ready. If he's managed properly he could be be in the team for years.

At the moment BR has Sturridge and Countinho as the players that are defining his tenure. He really needs a core of 5 or 6 players that are "his" to get his vision expressed in a consistent manner. When this happens people will be looking at Liverpool as a coherent team with a vision. Hopefully players like Ibe can be the future, it certainly worked down the road years ago.
