Actually, there must be quite a few LFC and ex-LFC players at Blackpool.

Wilson, Ince, Fowler, Bruna. Am I missing anyone?

How much would Fowler & Phillips have cost ten years ago? I don't like seeing him become a journeyman but I hope he can score plenty of goals form them.

    God.

Championship trio keeping tabs on Fowler as Blackpool move falls through

Robbie Fowler is considering his next move after failing to agree terms with Blackpool.

Hull, who are managed by his former Liverpool team-mate Nick Barmby, Doncaster and Burnley are monitoring Fowler's position now that he has stopped training at Bloomfield Road.

In demand: Hull, Doncaster and Burnley are monitoring Fowler
Fleetwood have also considered an audacious approach.

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway still wants to sign Fowler, 36, until the end of the season but no terms have been offered.

He could do a lot worse than going to Fleetwood to be honest, I know they're non-league but they're definitely a club on the up. Very good set-up there and a decent stadium.

If he went there and scored the goals that took them into League 2 he'd be a legend there too.

TBF even at his age he would have put away most of our missed chances. How we could do with a Robbie Fowler in his prime.

our team are currently carrying at least one passenger per game. it might be carroll, adam, downing, henderson, any combination of the above, or even all of the above.
im sure that if the part timers were swapped for grafters from the reserves so there were no dead wood to carry and everyone was earning their crust then there could be a place for Robbie to goal hang and make sure the ball goes into the back of the net
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

11 years ago he was scoring goals in finals and picking up trophies for us.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The Fowler of 2002 would still out score any of our current strikers

Cannot believe Blackpool offered him £90 a week

In fact it was £90 a week with a £5000 appearance fee which was to be paid if he completed 90 minutes

Actually it was £90,but would need to play full 90 to get full appearance bonus....

@Robbie9Fowler Yes but 5k appearance fee Robbie... Left that bit out eh.

@andrew14ad no I never..... That's the bonus, but would need to play the full 90 and I'm a realist

He had a bad hip injury after he left Liverpool for Leeds, but I'm sure he still managed a pretty impressive goals to starts ration.
