Thanjk you.

Im still not seeing while FSG are getting some grief, should they have put more money into the club? Is it the fact that they trust too much in their "football guys" who happen to be telling them not to sack Rodgers yet?
I think if we don't even seem to be approaching Klopp or Ancelotti (A walk down and American street with an American coffee) then questions deserve to be asked.
But besides that what else could FSG have done.
We've abject failed on the football pitch for all but one of their seasons. They hire all they football related staff and those staff have proven not to be up to the job, from the very top of the club down to the scouts , they set the model we have to follow, they hired an unproven manager for one of the biggest jobs in England when he failed they tip toed around the issue instead of facing it head on. Yeah they have no case to answer alright.
Spending the money the club generates and nothing more is not a reason to pat them on the back, it's the bare minimum expected.
We'll see if we can add the Klopp and Ancelotti thing to my list of issues with them.
Bender might not be your cup of tea but he does at a least bring news items to the site and offers a bit of humour. I've never seen him once say anything vitriolic towards another poster
I've not suggested otherwise.
I made a primary school aged rhyme. Nothing more, nothing less.

He's a good lad is Bender.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

That's a very subjective judgement. When they took over we were in a mess, so the first season was a write off and the definition of success & failure at that point had to be readjusted. The process of returning us to regular top 4 contenders, which had to be the first objective, seemed to have been achieved within 3 years until the football guys ****ed it up last year.

An unproven manager who did come within a slip of the title. However great Suarez was the idea that Rodgers had no influence on anything that season is just unfair. They made a brave hiring decision, it almost paid off.. and then it went wrong it seems. You're acting like this is all about such huge margins and so blindingly obvious from the start when so much of it ultimately comes down to swings in fortune over 90 mins on the pitch.
I generally think FSG act in good faith and want us to be successful, choosing to stick or twist last summer was a tight one and maybe they did get it wrong but they do have a track record I think of making decisions and trying to change things - as they did going from Comolli/Kenny to Rodgers/Committee - and I'd like them to get this next one right rather than do it quickly. As with everything I'd want owners to do really.

Financial reality? The club's accounts for the periods since they took over quite clearly indicate we sailed as close to FFP as we could, increased revenue, controlled spiralling wages and have gone from making significant loses in the first couple of seasons to breaking even. We've spent everything we could while running the club properly and the 3 times we've made huge sales every penny of that has gone straight back out. Yes its still a business and that spending has limits, but the list of fees we've paid under FSG is pretty eyewatering and wanting more denies our balance sheets.
Personally I'm quite happy we didn't spend more in the summer if ÂŁ20m+ is available immediately to a new manager if the next few games play out as most of us seem to think they will.

I'm not asking that they spend more than we have I'm saying them allowing us to spend what we earn is not a reason to pat them on the back. We "nearly" won the league in a season when all the stars aligned and we had a world class player at the top of his game in our ranks yet we still didn't and for a club like ours lauding nearly winning it is an embarrassment, especially when you consider the bigger picture of their full term as owners of us.
The fact remains we haven't achieved what we all desire since they came, nobody can argue that. They said they wanted to win, they haven't. One CL place in 5 years and in the other 4 we haven't even challenged for it despite it being their for the taking last year at least and this year too. Of course they are to blame for that, they create the conditions whereby that failure, and it is failure, occurs and continues to occur. Like I said, it's their staff implementing their vision and the two iterations we've had of that vision so far haven't got us where they said they wanted us. Their next appointment is crucial for us all and for them as I believe if they get it wrong more and more fans will rightly turn their focus to them rather than the manager.
A top manager gets that squad into the CL last season at the expense of United and a top manager this season has the chance to get in ahead of Chelsea too given their turmoil.
They had the chance to get a top manager in 2012 and ran away from it, they have that chance again now. Lets see what happens.
Balotelli can then come back next season and score 20 goals and prove that the only reason he was an utter waste of a name of the team sheet was because of his manager.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
