I think what he's saying is fair enough really, he's stuck his balls on the block somewhat by coming out with this as if we don't kick on with a decent 2nd half of the season he will be getting pelters and under quite a bit of pressure

Absolutely spot on IMO opinionOriginally posted by frank the tank View PostKuyt, Maxi, Bellamy, Aquilani.....hopefully soon Cole......
That lot were taking out more than £20m a year in wages from the club. BRs remit was obviously to get rid of high earners that offer close to fock all and assemble a young hungry squad. If he does that well, then he should have proved himself enough to get some proper 'kenny-style' cash and buy some proper top quality players...
I haven't read all this thread but I have seen people ask "how do we judge Rodgers at the end of the year?" With a suggestion that if we don't top last seasons 8th, a cup win and another final, then he should get the bullet.
That would suggest that bringing through Sterling, Suso, Shelvey, Wisdom - and hopefully more of Morgan, Yesil, Sinclair,Robinson, Ibe in the 2nd half of the season means nothing at all.
If LFC can be patient as a club then we have a great future coming up...
He has saved the club a lot of money on wages while consent rating on youth, showing a long term plan.
I'd happily give him a few years of mid tableness to build a solid team from the ground upOriginally posted by fah-qDidn't someone once see Philip Schofield ****ting into a crisp packet?

Yeah its been ****ing ridiculous, the robbery at Everton, Suarez hauled down by Mertesacker in the area (who was already on a booking) that'd have given us a pen to get 1-1 and 40mins v ten men, the pen to give us the chance for 3-1 v City for the Kolarov hack on Johnson, the Man Utd game was reffed by what looked like someone who'd decided the game winner before it had even kicked off and theres 10s more. It'd be nice if officiating ineptitude went for us sometimes, think it's happened once this season with Hendersons handball on Sunday and that looked outside the area anyway.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI know this is ultimately meaningless, but it does point to how unlucky we've been AGAIN
