Better IMO to remember those good times - those amazing times - that season and wish him well.

You're right though it's cringeworthy as **** to see a manager refer to it as 'paradise' but then that's wee Brendan to a tee
    Cheers spud.

Good luck to him. He did his best with us and came up short. His flannel started to grate a bit by the end and i can't see it going down too well in Glasgow but at least he'll get chance to gain more European experience. I won't miss him though

Brendan (typically) is the first person I've EVER directly heard refer to it as paradise. It's pretty cringeworthy, same as Theatre of Dreams is.

It's been a few years since I took a season ticket but, yes, it's tough going most of the time.

i dont want to stick the knife into brendan but hes gone to a pisspot league where celtic have no competition. Its a good move for someone looking to rebuild their reputation. I think he will do ok there. Its about his level.

I'll bet we're still going to make up at least some of the difference between his wage and the £5m

Some real Ass kissing going on: Dermot Desmond described Rodgers as "a great manager"
"Brendan is a highly-sought after manager and we are pleased we have been able to bring such a high calibre individual to Celtic," said chief executive Peter Lawwell.

"We wanted to bring one of the biggest and best names to the club to match our own aspirations .
"We have appointed a special manager
