I'm surprised Celtic can afford him.

Total sea change from the Celtic board if they appoint him. They've been very much bargain basement for the last 3 or so seasons

Hmmm - another Northern Irishman managing them, hope he likes death threats!

Ooh, where does that leave Brendan then? Maybe he should go and pursue his ambitions of coaching abroad if he doesn't land the Celtic gig.

He just said he's not interested where he ends up. My money is on Assassin coming here to see some more trendy pics of B-Dog. I sense his disappointment.

Think that would be a good fit for him. He'd do well up there.

We're sure the former Liverpool manager appreciated this.
    Or perhaps not.

Mark Quinn was filming the Belfast Marathon when he spotted a famous face among the runners.

It was the one and only Brendan Rodgers, and Mark couldn't resist providing the former Anfield boss with a form of encouragement that he is all too familiar with.

As the currently unemployed manager ran past, Mark encouraged with a shout of "great character!" as he sped past.

So funny that we're fairly certain Rodgers forgot to laugh.

No, would be a nightmare but you've got to think it will take Rangers a season to acclimatise and other than them it's silverware on tap for whomever is the Celtic manager. Whilst Hearts, Rangers and Aberdeen fight it out for 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

More interesting than going back to Swansea surely?
