To be honest, I'd say his handling of Suarez in 2013 has been unconventional by most managers' standards, but it has paid off pretty spectacularly.
    Oh I don't know.

I was talking about our win % in the last 38 games. This is getting a bit tedious Nigel

****ty poll on Football365 was asking who was the best manager of 2013.........Moyes, Ferguson, Wenger, Rodgers ?

Think Rodgers was killing it at around 40%

Thinking about it, and trying not to be biased, I honestly cannot think of a more impressive manager in the PL this calendar year. How he's conducted himself, managed expectations, handled players etc etc
In no way the finished article by any means, plus some of his signings do need to prove themselves going forward, but he's clearly the right man for the job so far.

I'm not sure how old most fans on the site are but I'm among those who remember when we won it regularly. It's been so long now since we won it that I think I'll cry

I remember our last two title's in 88 & 90 (im 35 now), it's been way too long. I honestly think i would cry aswell if somehow we lifted the trophy this season.

Same. 36. So haven't won it in my adult life. I have no idea how I'd react. Probably pass out.

Being of a similar age I have no doubt I would cry and then get hammered, probably the most wrecked I have ever been.

Because the last game of the season is on a Sunday I'd probably celebrate with a small glass of wine and then get an early night so I'm fresh for work on the Monday morning.

                        He's ****ing briliant isn't he.

Had my doubts when we took him on, and for a bit in his first season.

But he's magic, I still think he's a wee bit cliche'ey, if that makes sense.

But he's a great manager, Martinez's decent start at Everton suggests that FSG really know what they're doing too.

                        Lovely stuff.

Going one behaviour when we won the CL for number 5 I'd imagine tears and far, far too much booze oh and loss of my voice

Same really. I was 20 when we last won it but I'd been watching us win for 15 years so took it very much for granted
