      Very early days (about 20 mins ) but I like this guy alot. Very measured, sounds professional and confident. No cringeworthy Woyisms on the horizon. God, I really hope this work out.

            Watching the press conference he seems a perfect Liverpool manager. Young, progressive, respectful, focused well spoken. More than anything his footballing style is 'The Liverpool Way' in thes best traditions of the Cqlub I've got a better feeling about it than when he was first announced. Welcome Brendan Rodgers and good luck.

                          Rodgers says he said he wouldn't work with Sporting/football director. Sounded a little different to what Ayer said 10 seconds before.
