Whys he getting involved in this Cardiff side show? Trying to distract from offering Suarez a new contract? Seems pointlessly inflammatory.
      *Except Michael, who died.

I'd prefer it if he just left this alone

he has some history with mackay and maybe he is a mate.
he is only questioning the owner, i reckon all the fans and probably the players dislike the owner, so brendan wont be giving them a reason to be 'more up for it'
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Managers comment on issues outside of their own club all the time and anyone who knows anything about the game can see Vince is a massive tit.

No problem with it, Malky is a good friend of his and people should stick up for eachother, would have helped Rafa if he wasnt completely alone, instead he didnt really have many managers sticking up for him and we got the "eeeez wasted loadsa money dunno what the waiter is complayning abarrrt"

Cardiff fans are delighted with what he's said and they hate Swansea people!

What about the stats? We're 2nd in the table.
                Are we winning?

I agree, I can Rodgers making allies amongst other managers in a way unlike Rafa who only had Martinez offering any sort of back up. He will probably get more media backing as well.
                  * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Sad but true. Not least cos of Funguscunt's absence. Let's enjoy it while it lasts tho.
                    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Sometimes I wonder what Rodgers is doing, but he always manages to come good and it looks like that was the plan all along. His handling of Raheem Sterling is case in point. He chucks him into the first XI with no experience and he starts very well. The boy then signs a new deal after much fanfare and is dropped. He plays so few minutes that I suspect he's to go on loan and I worry about his lack of progression.

Raheem was then average v Hull, but slowly starts to turn it on in the following games and looked better than ever against Spurs. Sterling looked hungry v Spurs and determined to show his class. It brings me to the conclusion that the rest did him good, that he is progressing, and that basically Rodgers knows exactly what he's doing.

Another point: Rodgers is not blinded by opinion of fans or anyone else. He doesn't care how young or how experienced a player is. They all get exactly the same treatment - play well in training and you get a chance. Take that chance and you keep that spot. He hasn't felt the need to justify his signings. Borini is out on loan and Allen was benched for games. He makes Agger vice captain but does it guarantee his spot? Rumours were Skrtel was on his way out after a drop in form. Does he favour other players ahead of him?

We've seen the answers to all that. It's simple with Rodgers. Not many managers would put in a youngster who he was trying to send out on loan ahead of a player whose competed in the CL and at the top level. Flanno starting over Aly was a major surprise. But no one in the side is safe. If they don't perform they're out. Fantastic and that's why we're second in the league.
                      Forwards.......

Good on Rodgers over the Vincent Tan thing.
Speaking out against crackpot owners can only be a good thing and nice to hear that other managers have been doing the same in their press conferences.

will be interesting to see if glen johnson gets a start vs cardiff. maybe this is his chance to put the spurs game behind him and regain some form against some 'easy' opposition

Maybe he should be swapped with Flanagan to see how he gets on on Sakho's side of the defence. Give Flanagan a chance to pressurize Johnson's place at RB whilst not rubbing his face in it

Another feather in his cap today (not forgetting FSG/Ayre's input). Increasingly impressive.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
