He plays City 2nd last game away then his last game of the season Chelsea at home. I guarantee you he is looking at Chelsea thinking that's my next move so what better way to put a maker down than to take points off the Man City the week before playing the club he ultimately wants to manage.

Wouldn't be too sure, I think it will be marginally better if anything. Puel is not a bad manager, he was just not suited to the squad/club, doubt Rodgers will be any better. Look forward to seeing them playing it out from the back.Originally posted by Fredo View PostGood appointment. Leicester have got a lot of potential. He will improve them and I expect them to challenge the top 6 soon.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Leicester have some serious talent in their youth set-up, and a good mix of premiership winning older pros, Rodgers will smash it out of the park there. He's a very very good manager regardless if what certain sections of the fanbase thing of him. You don't rise to the very top of the game by accident, he knows what he is doing and he will get a team that really does not need to much work blasting teams away. Puel tried to turn an ultra direct fast counter attacking team into a possession-based football team with not many additions to the squad, the fans and importantly the players did not like it. I can see his side taking something off City the 2nd last game of the season.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostWouldn't be too sure, I think it will be marginally better if anything. Then back to Hibs on Sat. Wondering when the next Old Firm game is?Originally posted by Buzzo View PostNeil Lennon taking Celtic to Tynecastle tomorrow. Can’t see that ending well.
He'd either got balls of brass or zero self awareness.
Got a bit of a soft spot for Lennon. TBH.
It shames our country the secterian abuse and the several assaults that he's endured during his time up here.

New Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers "promised the players there are special things on the horizon" after watching their win over Brighton, said caretaker boss Mike Stowell.
First-team coach Stowell said:
"He's got a presentation to give to them on Thursday on what he expects from them on and off the pitch. I'm excited about watching that."

He brings some of it on himself, due to be an antagonistic volitile *******. And the rest (the sectarian ****e) he doesn’t deserve.
Him against Gerrard on the touch line in an OF match could be interesting.Modifying post.

I think Rodgers will be aiming for the Europa League spots, and playing good football with Leicester. Do that, and he'll be aiming for one of the bigger jobs.
I always thought maybe someone like Spurs would take a punt on him if Pochettino left. All he has to do is challenge to be "best of the rest" outside the top 6, play progressive football, and he'll be a hotshot manager to go for again.
I asked a Spurs mate of mine who he wanted if Pochettino left. He said Howe, Dyche, or Benitez, but not Rodgers. I said, 'Rafa, fine, but you'd prefer Howe or Dyche over Rodgers?' Weird.
