I've just woke up to the news after a bad nights sleep from watching another abject performance.

It's going to be a good day. Even better when we appoint Klopp.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Let's play football with no managers
"Fergie" had a lot to do with it. Over 20 Plus years you could reach that conclusion. Rodgers had one great season of all his years of management ever, coinciding with and arguably the 3rd best player in the worlds best season ever. I concede br must have played some part. But Suarez and Sturridge were the key people in that season for me . Not Rodgers. Anyway, ill have to agree to disagree on this one.

I wonder if Chelsea loosing again hurried the owners into the decision of sacking Rogers? The Chavs could be after a new manager if Mourinho doesn't turn it around soon IMO.

I'd rather see a football manager given a budget and the CEO/MD is there to make it happen, sign the cheques and sack the manager if it doesn't work.

I think they're trying to run that side of the business similar to running funds with balancing risk vs returns.

One thing to keep in mind when feeling bad for Brendan is the £7m he will reportedly pocket by having his contract ended.

                      He'll have worse days.

This is a great read. What a season that was. I'm sad it never worked out for Brendan - we were on the cusp of doing something genuinely incredible under him.

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yep absolutely. Said that myself yesterday. It's really very simple, get the best footy man you can get, tell him budget and let him get on with it. This TC is a continuing fudge.

him being sacked had an almost post traumatic stress disorder affect on me, brought flooding back the feeling after we lost to palace, I ****ing wept for hours. That charge we went on, we were incredible. Its all gone and feels a million miles away. We won nowt but I never got a sensation like that supporting Liverpool. If only we never ****ing blew it

It's a strange one as you need someone where the buck stops with and as the football mananger is that man for how the results go on the pitch it surely makes the most sense that he's given the control within budget constraints to decide what we need.

Anyway, it is what it is at the moment and we now have the excitement of a new manager.

It better not be AVB or Gary Monk
