Stevie was spot on. We seem to get carried away too quickly with some of our youngsters and can we honestly say any of them have been outstanding? Sterling had a few very good games and thats about it.

He was spot on, I think there was more than a hint of "some lads think they've made it" once they get into the first team and really it's only just the start for them when that happens. He mentioned having to keep working every day to improve and maybe some haven't been doing that.

I hope he plays for us personally. I'm over the whole leaving thing tbh, we got £50m for him and he wasn't great for us for 6 months at least. The club was a mess and to be fair at one stage he was world class and deserved a CL medal, which he got. So **** it, not arsed anymore, I loved him while he was here and I wouldn't boo him if he turned out for us in a testimonial.
