              What leadership though?
He was never particularly vocal on the pitch but led by example.
Last season I'm not sure what that example was.
Slated Mario on live TV as well.

Milner is a huge improvement on last year's Stevie.

I'd say he's an improvement on Stevie's last two season's.

Mario was apparently turning up late for training all the time so he was right to slate him.
                        Forwards.......

On live TV for taking a penalty when he was by all accounts the managers nominated penalty taker?
                          What purpose did it serve?

Just wanted to say that still think Stevie would have been brilliant to have coming off the bench late in the games for next season, but he is not the type of guy who would have accepted that role, he always wants to be playing and respect due for that. For me he has brought the greatest moments as a football fan, and was easily the best in his position in his prime. Its a privilege to have seen him at his best and even at his worst he would still produce something magical. Hope he enjoys his wee break in the USA
