To be honest his ****ness as a manager is probably a bigger reason
Probably not going to be something that gets the same reaction from someone in the UK, but his long time association with the worst of the worst of the Irish crime scene has me hoping he never has anything to do with the club again.
He hangs out with some of the worst criminals to come from Ireland (Kinahans and Byrnes) and even his daughter is dating the son of one of them.
Come Patrick's day he will no doubt be over in Dublin again lighting up his social media accounts with pics of him being driven around Dublin in luxury cars with the "enforcers" of the Kinahan cartel being his drivers.
Same Kinahans who have rewards of millions put on them by the US government and whose cartel is involved with gun running in and out of the Middle East.
Same Kinahan cartel with ties to the mega wealthy in Saudi Arabia and who have been a plague to Irish boxing.
Same criminal scum that Gerrard has had as his guests in both Vila Park and Anfield and that own property on the Wirral.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness
I think he blew that when he tried to fight Mings in his first few weeks at Villa to stamp his authority.
Hes not the required standard for us.
Yeah that’s not a good trait of his. He threw his players under the bus regularly at Rangers too.
Suppose he was stamping his authority being a novice manager so maybe he’s grown out of it but yeah, I don’t want him anywhere near the LFC manager running.

When considering him as a manager I think back to the criticism Rafa had of him as a player that he plays too much with his heart and not enough with his head. While his game did get more 'intelligent' later in his career he always had that reactionary side to him, which IMO doesn't really work well as a manager these days.
Because of the difference in their approaches and both moving into coaching at similar times I always compared him and Xabi Alonso and have long been of the opinion that Alonso's approach would be more suited to management, maybe that will change in time but I think at the moment it is holding up.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
