He is never coming back now is he?

He gave us his own little golden era though. Rafa

I still think he could succeed Kenny, whenever that might be.

He will be kind of tarnished for me, especially if he goes to another PL club. Not sure I would really want him then?

FSG would have loved his approach. I hope all this media interaction he's doing does improve his image, its amazing the negativity from everyone outside Liverpool (and some from our own fans too) about him. The man is a proper manager. One of the best in the business.

He will pick up a job in the summer at a less fashionable club to keep him in the premiership & in the loop for the the kop job when Kenny decides to quit...
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

I think that will actually work against him. IMO his chance has passed by.

i think what he needs is to show he doesnt fall out with owners/boards all the time.

once he shows that then he instantly becomes more attractive to owners and boards who in all honesty are the ones that hire him.

for me its a shame that his reputation isnt as high as it should be in this country when you look at what he has won.

It's more the micro management of the obsessive small details.

I remember a story about telling Nando to stand two paices to the left of a defender, from which later in the game he scored. Something he wasn't getting from Hodgson or now at Chelsea, and to some extent last season, when Rafa gave up the micro management.

Sometimes a good game isn't reflected on the score sheet. It annoys me that journalists and fans only look at the goals to judge a game, when there's >90% more to the match.

Good article that. I enjoyed reading it. I wonder if City will be is his next job?

He made us the best and most feared club in Europe. Took him three years. From a club with no hope at all against the best clubs to number one in three years. Incredible stuff. That in a club that stood still and later in the middle of a civil war.

The best tactical manager out there. Sets up his team so they can win every game, home and away against every club in the world. May not be pretty but his club can beat anyone.

Very few games that you can say that the other manager won the tactical battle.

Yep, his track record in that respect is pretty bad and will definitely put owners off.

its a shame as he has done it for the right reasons in many cases. Also it has made him popular with a huge number of fans.

However they dont tend to hire the manager.

I'll be gutted if/when he goes to another Prem club, just won't feel right at all.

Very funny the way he demonstates tactics with condiments all the time. Remember an ace interview a while back detailing when he persuaded Masher to join us by showing how he'd play alongside Xabi with salt & pepper pots.

It also explains his fat gut. He spends far too much time at meals.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
