Regarding Rafa and his daft decisions.

You only have to search through the old match threads.

Just because things are going pear shaped at the moment, everyone is hailing him as the messiah..

No they aren't. They're saying they think he was a damned sight better than his successor.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

and show me a manager who never makes a strange decision?

and the fact he is doing well at inter must say he isnt a bad manager then.

Well over 50% of us wanted Rafa to stay no matter what, I remember Dan Perkins using this as evidence even though it contradicted his point.

I think Rafa was good but served his time. Not sure if I want him back or not - probably the latter. Think all football is going through a transition now. The financial crisis is eventually catching up with that industry too. Very little money spent in the transfer market by any club this season (with the obvious exception) but just plain to see the whole sport is getting quite boring - irrespective of who you support. There's a realisation now that these guys are way overpiad for what they do (look at England in the World Cup) and I believe a huge correction is coming. Teams are more evenly matched than ever. Unfortunately, Liverpool have felt this more than most due to owership, but most clubs are affected. I think if Benitez was still here we'd be doing better, but only just.

I think our players were simply too thick at times to really understand what Rafa wanted from them. Would love him back here on his terms.

Aquilani bossing Sneijder and Cambiasso, then replaced by Sissoko..

An even first half. Inter totally dominated in the second. Eto'o was brilliant.

He even worked his socks off in defense and that is one thing I never thought I would see

Rafa did what he usually do. He set up the team to wear the opposition down. Nice and easy first half and then set up the team to take out the threats in the second.

Krasic was the dangerous player so he moved Chivu into the middle and Santon took his place on the left. Danger over and from then on Inter totally dominated.

He also moved Cambiasso a step closer to Aquilani who had got to much space.

Should have posted this in here instead of the Blackpool thread. Sorry.

Now Hansen blaming Liverpool's woes on Ngog, Kuyt and Kyrgiakos. Uses Gerrard again as example of one-man team. Laughable.

Hansen says it's too soon to judge any of Roy's new signings. But does lament Jovanovic, who is just as new - except signed by Rafa.

To single out Ngog, our top scorer with 7 goals and just a youngster, and Kyrgiakos (one of few who always tries) is pathetic.
                                Are we winning?
