I want to say 'never follow Mourinho', but given so many players there seem to hate him, it might not be such a bad thing this time.
It'd be interesting to see what happened with Alonso should Rafa go to Madrid - I know in football terms we'd have no chance but I, maybe deludedly, believe he would never go to the Mancs and would love a return to us. Maybe he'd go to Chelsea. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Difference with replacing Mourinho this time would be that "the special one" has kinda ****ed things up at Madrid now and is busy burning all his bridges there & putting half the squad against him. Very different to the situation at Inter (Rafa should never have taken that one).I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Yup. He is also a Madridista. One of their own. So I think he will get a little bit more leeway than other managers.

Angry Chelsea fans have decided to boycott matches until Rafa Benitez is dumped.
Supporters believe the club is being torn apart by the way it is being run and are determined to see the back of the interim manager.

After Chelsea’s shock 2-0 home defeat by Swansea on Wednesday in the Capital One Cup semi-final first leg, the depth of anger being felt by fans was expressed by Trizia Fiorellino, chair of the Chelsea Supporters’ Group, who said: ‘We are in turmoil and there is a danger we will lose the soul of the club.
‘I know of fans who will not watch Chelsea until Rafa Benitez has gone.
'In my experience, fans who stop watching the club don’t come back.’
Backlash: Fans are calling for Benitez's head... and they want Frank Lampard to stay instead
Chairman Bruce Buck was showered with abuse before the match and supporters went on to chant the names of former managers Jose Mourinho and Roberto Di Matteo during a fractious first leg.
One fan even ran down the steps of the East Stand at the final whistle and shouted: ‘**** off, Benitez’ after the reigning European champions failed to beat the high-flying Swans.
Fiorellino added: ‘The booing of Bruce Buck was universal and vitriolic. It was a serious miscalculation by someone at the club to let him on the pitch before the game.
Hot and cold: Fernando Torres has faced the wrath of fans and could be replaced by Demba Ba
‘We are fully appreciative of everything Roman Abramovich has done for the club but Benitez is not the right fit for Chelsea.
‘He was brought in to get the best out of Fernando Torres, but if anything the body language has become even worse.
‘There is a lot of disharmony among the supporters about everything that is happening and it is tearing the club apart.’
Nightmare at the Bridge: Swansea pulled off a shock win in the Capital One Cup
Real Madrid have targeted Benitez as a potential summer replacement for Jose Mourinho, should the Portuguese leave in the summer.
Chelsea fans are also furious with the treatment of midfield legend Frank Lampard as he enters the final phase of his career at the club.
Fiorellino added: ‘It is an unpopular decision to let Lampard leave and it seems John Terry may be next.’
Owner Abramovich, who is on the Caribbean island of St Barts on an extended holiday, has been made aware of fans’ fury by senior figures at the club after they were humiliated by Michael Laudrup’s side.Go **** yourself

Isn't this person just a child? I'm sure that the vocal minority of dickheads at Chelsea can't be truly representative of their genuine football supporters. I don't like the club and I think Rafa deserves much better, but I cannot believe that Chelsea supporters will abandon their team and never return because they're unhappy with an interim appointment.Originally posted by Boogar View PostTrizia Fiorellino, chair of the Chelsea Supporters’ Group, who said: ‘We are in turmoil and there is a danger we will lose the soul of the club.

Poor old Chelsea fans, hating winning stuff because its not done right.
Id give my right arse cheek to have won as much as them in the last 10 years. Abramovich has made that club what it is today with his money. Without it they would just be another Aston Villa occasionally making an assault on the top 4. Look at their record Pre and Post Roman.

Funny I wasn't aware Chelsea had a soulOriginally posted by Boogar View Postthe depth of anger being felt by fans was expressed by Trizia Fiorellino, chair of the Chelsea Supporters’ Group, who said: ‘We are in turmoil and there is a danger we will lose the soul of the club.
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.
