good to see us getting our monies worth and about time he made a valid contribution, even from the bench.Originally posted by G View PostHe lived every minute of that game on the bench,he was shouting abuse at the fourth official and the fulham bench when they got a few dodgy decisions too,it was great to see, sign of unity in the squad.
if they were paying me 25k a week to shout obscenities from the bench then im all in.removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Ha ha. Me & a few mates were stretcher bearers for the local youth league competition a few years back. I got warned several times for over zealous goal celebrations whereas I was supposed to be neutral at our home games.Originally posted by baitman View Postgood to see us getting our monies worth and about time he made a valid contribution, even from the bench.

what did they expect me to do? Just sit there like a puppet?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Liverpool striker Iago Aspas has revealed that he is keen to secure a move away from Liverpool at the end of the season.
Aspas has found his appearances limited due to the exceptional form of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, and the Spaniard believes that he needs to seek a new club to revive his career.
The 26-year-old is quoted by The Metro as saying: "I am not a 20-year-old anymore. I can't go on loan and explode.
"I think that the best would be to transfer to another club and that I find the best fit for myself and the club."
Aspas, who signed from Celta Vigo last summer, has failed to score in 13 Premier League appearances, with his only goal coming against Oldham Athletic in the FA Cup in January.

Yeah.....so long, good luck and all that. But never looked the part in his admittedly brief showings...........sometimes didn't even look like a footballer, what with his skinny arms.
Even stopped hitting the post there towards the end."I will make the boys feel your support"

Big wet JessieI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Leaving's for the best, but other than him not being nearly good enough (and he really wasn't), I don't think there's much negative to say about him. He was actually pretty active when he was on the pitch I thought, but in a way reminiscent of Hendo in his first year or two here - a lot of running but somehow never really influencing the game with it. It was a matter of being out of his depth, not really a lack of effort. But BR's been pretty clear that he's been a model professional and he clearly gives a **** (his sideline celebrations for Fulham away). It was a bad transfer, they happen, but Iago seems a good guy who'll do well in a midtable Spanish side and I hope he does. Maybe back to Celta.
