Lovren is a left sided CB that's the problem.

Skrtel was really good today, keeping our backline in tact is important so I wouldn't change it.

Going forward Gomez should get a chance once he's fully recovered imo.

Lovren is right footed though isn't he, not sure why it seems given that he can only play on the left, seems a bit of an odd one really.

I also wouldn't change it though, not always Skrtel's biggest fan but he did have a good game and he & Sakho look much comfortable together than they did 6 months ago.

Fantastic defender who can play out from the back which is such a benefit to have. Oh and his aerial ability is so good, just seems to win everything that's thrown up at him

It would be nice to see us serve up some decent set pieces/ corners for him to get on the end of. That part of our game needs to improve.

We need someone like Willian delivering balls into the box. He really is good at set pieces. Milner whips a good cross in but bottles it when he has too much time to think.

He's certainly not far off Agger in terms of passing, he doesn't look as comfortable as Agger but the ability on the ball is superb

Better passer of the ball than Agger IMO. A good bit better. Stats are better, passes are better.

And still Ferdinand thinks he's not a great passer of the ball. Mentioned that today. According to him, since Klopp arrived, they aren't passing from the back as much as they did when Rodgers was here.

Got caught on the ball twice I think but that happens when you're constantly thinking of your next pass. His passing transitioned our play excellently yet again. And that pass to Benteke's head was pin perfect.
