I'm pretty sure I heard Hargreaves say I was a great player during commentary too.

      But Sakho.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Just watching the Sakho touch video from MrBoywonder - really is a top top centre back

          Fully deserved.

As others have said above, it's nice to see him finally get some recognition. Not that I'm too bothered about what the likes of Alan Smith and Martin Tyler think.

Hopefully he can stay injury free and the Lovren experiment can be put to bed.

A right-sided CB in January or the summer would be nice.

He's a god. Just got to find him a decent partner now, not this fella!

That was the punt forward for the goal I take it?

Yep. Clyne should have done much better in the end but we could easily have got an offside out of that or put the guy off playing the pass in the first place if Marty wasn't as usual in his own little world. Thankfully Klopp wont put up with this **** like Rodgers did. He'll get till the end of the season at most.

That's hardly fair though. The red line is making it look like Clyne and Sakho are holding a high line when obviously they weren't. Cylne was chasing back and Sakho was probably reacting to the player ahead of him and it's just a coincidence that the scorer is currently offside without Sktrel there.

Obviously Skrtel is notorious for this and again could have did better last night, but I don't think that's the best example to use.

Well exactly, thats the problem, it's just another error in an enormous line of them.

Unfortunately so, but it was a great goal and a pleasure to watch, even if it was against us.

Lads this is the Sakho worship thread. Skrtel bashing has its own thread

That goal was all Clyne's fault IMO.

That reads like something Alex would type.

I watched the match stone cold sober last night, so I have a completely different perspective than I'm used to. Feels odd I do admit.
