Thought he did well yesterday although I noticed it was Skrtel who made Garth Crook's team of the week. (Not that I'm a fan of Crooks it should be noted).

      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

To think loads of people wanted Agger and Skrtel instead!

Stuck by this lad from the off - seen him in France and knew he would be a beast. Great to see him get a run of games and boy is it paying off.

People mention Agger being a ball playing CB. Sakho's passing isn't too shabby for a CB! Back heels on the edge of the box when we're scrambling to get rid of the ball ffs

He has a way of making angles when passing out of defence when being closed down and getting the attack going, great to see.

Sakho looks a brilliant piece of business, my only reservation is when he turns back to the keeper under pressure, he sometimes looks a little indecisive in what he is going to do

I think that indecision is often appearance rather than actuality. When there are options he seems to take them quickly and his reading of the game (see the back heel) is good.

I think turning back to the keeper is a valid option - although I accept that with Mignolet it is sometimes a bit hair raising.

Another great vid, Mostar. His passing is really, really good.

Haven't seen Mostar's vid yet (can't at work) but I remember his passing from Sunday. Couldn't believe how someone so gangly was producing some of our best (and sometimes complex/risky) passing from the back. Kept expected him to slip up a pass and put us under pressure but it never happened.

Have to say it, his passing is already better than Agger's has ever been.

It's been evident since his debut at Swansea. Very composed. Fizzes it into feet, and not afraid to play it through little gaps etc. His use of the ball is excellent.

Although that pass to Mignolet which led to Spurs' disallowed goal wasn't the kindest.
I know Mignolet miss-controlled it, but dropping a ball like that on your keeper is asking for trouble.

It was commented on LFC tv that the pass was meant for Skrtel. He mis hit it and the trajectory went toward Mignolet. So yes, a mistake but not one destined for Mig initially.

I think that's pushing it a bit to be honest
