He looks very awkward given his size but his passing is much, much better than most people give him credit for it.

I'm most impressed with how cool and composed he is when he gets pressured by the opposition.

He doesn't panic and almost always seems to pick a perfect pass when pressed.

Still needs to improve his heading technique and where to direct those headers as it would make him so much better player.

He headed a lose ball under no pressure straight to a Spurs player which resulted in the Soldado shot that just went over.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He did and there was another one at 0-2 where he headed the ball straight to Lennon in the box which shot he was luckily able to block.

His timing is off and for the powerful man he is his technique in the air should be much better.

that vid actually shows him passing with his right foot
i have noticed that he occasionally passes and strangely goes to ground. whats that all about.
he seems more settled and confident.

Yeah I thought he sliced it at the time, not sure if that makes it better or worse though

Fast becoming a personal favourite of mine. No nonsense, a look that could kill, calm, robust, firm in the challenge and good in the air ... he also gets himself amongst the goals. A bargain.

I know Mignolet miss-controlled it, but dropping a ball like that on your keeper is asking for trouble.
It wasn't an easy ball under pressure but you'd expect any professional footballer to trap that kind of ball. Good to see that Rodgers is encouraging risk taking in defence. Hodgson would have called it, 'fookin loonch it'.
                Are we winning?

                  Brilliant vid Mostar

Watching that back confirms why I was so excited when he got him, he is an absolute beast!

I would go as far to say he is a better footballer than Agger. Without a doubt this lad could be the best defender in the league in the next two years if he carries on like this. This is what we should be doing, getting players with tonnes of potential who aren't playing as much as they want, and give them first team football and let them flourish.

A future fan's favourite in the making.

mos said he looks awkward and i would second that.

half the time im wondering how his passes get to their mark because his body shape is completely wrong. as long as they reach our lads who cares but hes much better on the ball than i initially thought he was.

infact i would say he was excellent in possession of the ball.

Imo Agger is more technically polished but Sakho has the physical attributes that are more desirable in PL.

Both good players and I still wonder how it would be to pair them together and let them play few games in a row.

Good compilation Mostar. Sakho's headers really don't get any distance whatsoever.

Thankfully Man City won't be getting the ball anywhere near his head, even with Negredo. And on the ground he's unbeatable.

He jumps way too early and his header technique is wrong.

He'd almost perfect for this league if he can improve that part of his game.

Is that something that can be coached even at 23?

He's still adjusting but i think he has been excellent so far. He needs to improve aerially & he can be ponderous at times... but looks excellent signing thus far.
