Sakho did have a period when he was poor. He didn't cost us the game though.

Yeah, I know and it occurred after the 3rd goal. I still think in that spell he put us under a lot of pressure and looked extremely shaky for no reason.

I quite like Sakho, his tackling and positional sense is very good and I like the way he walks the ball out of defence. He's a fantastic goal threat at set pieces. He can pass but a fair number of his passes put the receiver under pressure. 88% pass completion doesn't always tell the whole story. I don't subscribe to him being world class just yet

FFS, one defeat and all you moaners come out in full force. X is abysmal, Y is appalling etc .... etc ... We've outplayed City at their own ground last night. Controlled most of the game and looked solid defensively (I particularly liked our shape when we didn't have the ball - best I've seen this season). Thought Sakho was excellent as was his passing.

What was the last team to have gone there and not conceded more than 2 goals?

We've only Suarez in the world class ranks.

Sakho is our best centre back even after the short time he's been here and at 23 he has loads of time to get even better. All we need now is a long term partner for him but until then I'd be having Toure.

Another big blow. At this rate we are going to go through the entire season without being able to field our strongest XI once. I don't think we've had Suarez, Sturridge, Coutinho, Gerrard and Sakho on the pitch at the same time once this season.
