I hope we don't rush him back.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Don't think BR will use him on Sunday.

More likely he'll be available for Villa match.

That's a better move. Bentenke is still a handful and we need Sakho to shut him up.

I think Sakho, long term will end up a better buy than any other player since Suarez was snaffled from Ajax.

That's quite a bold claim. A better signing that Sturridge and Coutinho? He does look a talent, I can see huge potential, but I'm still not 100% convinced just yet.

I do hope Sakho plays against Stoke.

Considering his age, the potential is fantastic. Compare Kompany to when he joined City and I can see Sakho making a similar leap.

In general I agree with you. I think Kompany was 23 when he joined City so it's an interesting comparison. Kompany was such an intelligent, well rounded guy though. I think that was key for him. I don't know enough about Sakho to judge him on that yet, but I see he's teaching local school kids French. I like that. Little things like that bode well for me in terms of a players mentality. If he has Kompany's attitude he'll go far.

I'm not sure he'll ever reach Kompany's level, but he does have the physical attributes to be a top class CB.

I think the extra height that Kompany has coupled with his physical talent makes him almost peerless amongst other CBs. But Sakho can certainly match in the physicality and depends whether he can become that leader figure that Kompany is. Certainly wouldn't like to face the pair of them though!

You're right about Kompany's height and physicality, he's incredible. In terms of leadership qualities, Sakho captained PSG as a teenager so he's definitely a leader. I think that'll show more in time out on the pitch.

I just don't want to get carried away with him just yet, he's still only a relative youngster for a CB and he could still go either way.

Missed his presence at the back today, the good news is he will be available for next weekend.

Big time. He'll have Benteke to contend with too - who hasn't scored for an eternity but will obviously do so against us.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I'd love to see the on field stats of our four centre backs eg headers/tackles won ...goals conceded etc.

Damn, I had a look but I only found the off field ones. Sorry
