Weird, maybe something did go on then.

Let's be honest here, he's average at best. If he was at utd we would be ripping him to shreds.

I find it strange that you consider him 'average at best', where you rate Flanagan as the second coming.

It seems that there's not one player in our current squad that the general consensus is that they're any good. According to at least a few posters every single one of our players are absolute ****. I love it how a bad run causes this. Then when we start playing better they'll ease up and when we hit a rough patch we'll get 'I never trusted him and knew he was ****e all along'.

          that's fair mate.

I love Flanagan as he's a local lad made good, I love his detemination and the way he tackles. Love it. Plus he's calm on the ball, he receives under pressure and has some nice moves where he brings the ball out away from the attacker, he also plays a nice pass.

I like Sakho the man, he seems likeable, but as a player he fills me with dread every single time. He's not ****, but he isn't the answer either. He can't head for **** mind and he goes missing a lot. I hope he turns out good but I don't think he will. Lovren can only play Lcb that much I've seen, so where does it leave Sakho?

I've said it before but I don't think Rodgers rate Sakho at all.

On the evidence of his displays, I can see why.

Us buying another left sided centre back for 20m to replace him is a big enough indicator the boss doesn't rate him.

He hasn't improved from last season and that is an issue. He's still young mind and when you look at Mangana yesterday, who made a few mistakes, it might take him more time to get used to the league.

He won't get that time. He didn't get it last season and with Lovren in now he won't get it this season.

Completely bombed out of the squad for the trip to Basel despite being fit. Jeez.

Still.......when you're finding hard to change a manager's mind, it's probably not best to act like a bitch and confirm that manager's suspicions.
Probably needed something more than that Twitter apology.

Good, cant be flouncing out of the ground if hes not picked. Need team players dont we. Despite thinking he should be first choice, I think its strong management by Rodgers.
                            *Except Michael, who died.

Aye, have to assume this is his punishment. I'd like to know whether he was intended for the bench on Saturday and just stormed out, or was bombed out completely. I think he'll be gone next summer. Shame, I think he's excellent and will bugger off and be excellent elsewhere. Though many think he's gash, which I find bizarre. Can't remember a player who divides opinion as strongly as Sakho does.

Rodgers has shown he holds no grudges. If Sakho pulls his socks up and starts dominating in whichever cup games he plays in, I'm sure Rodgers will notice and react accordingly. No need to panic about selling him in the summer quite yet.
