Sakho had a good game his parter was more problematic

Made a stupid error of judgement for the corner that led to the goal, but we had the opportunity to defend the set piece, which led to Lovren having one of his moments.
After the goal he wasn't really challenged other than the odd set piece, with most of his play just mopping up Villa's attacks. Bit of a nothing game from him overall.
Got away with the two CBs having a mare in the first half against Spurs, but we were punished today due to our softness dealing with a standard set piece.
Just the one mistake......but it proved costly.

There was mention that PSG were happy to part with him for decent money as he was not going to play while Silva was there - Silva considered him a bit of a liability. Though good luck with Luiz. LOL.

I dismissed those comments at the time as bitterness. But I can see these concerns emanating, specially the bit where his CB partner is left ****ting bricks. Witness Lovren's performances with him as opposed to Skrtel.
