    Yup, something fishy alright.

On one hand i like a strong manager that sticks it to the players and takes no **** - on the other hand i like Sakho.

The club should pay me £2k a week - I'd keep his weight down and straighten out his attitude without killing his spirit.

I like Sakho and think he is our best CB but I have faith in Klopp and right now he is far more important to the long term future of the club.

Interesting read on Sakho after he joined us:

Does have the distinct air of history repeating itself.

Something is not right.. his last 3 managers have had issues with him ... after the drama of last season you would think he would just get his head down and get on with it but you could see he was on a jolly preseason and Klopp outwardly joked but it was obvious he was not impressed with the casual nature of Sakho ....

I think Danny Ings is a perfect example of a player who likes to mess about but when it comes game time / training he is all business ... I suspect its not quite the same with Mamo

Should be able to get about 10m for him after his loan if not a bit more.

He definitely doesn't have a future here regardless of what is being said. Softened by Matip starting well (1 game).

Easily a 20m pound defender in this league. On his day as good as anyone. Still got loads of potential to get better

the money getting chucked around for average players and even some generally ****e ones has gone crazy.

the problem is trying to shift players deemed as injury crocs, misfits or 'trouble makers'

mario is the prime example. seems like sakho is also in this group now...

Yeah on his day a £20m player but there'll be a stink surrounding him now unless he rips it up on loan somewhere but i wouldn't be amazed if he loses his head completely.

Would hate to see him go as I really rate him as a player and think he comes across as a decent guy, but if he is not in Klopp's long term plans then I would have been trying to move him on and trying to get a new player in.

Sakho plus a big wedge of cash for Laporte or if we wanted to test out the rumours at PSG then Sakho plus a big wedge of cash for Veratti.

The former would had quality and serious beef beside Matip, and the latter would be a top class addition to our midfield.

The fans at PSG seemed to like him and they have changed manager since he was sold by them so maybe it could be an option despite them moving him on.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Eager to prove his worth to the Italian, the Sakho was brought on as a substitute late in the 2011-12 season away at Lille with PSG 1-0 up and chasing the title. After only 25 minutes on the pitch, Sakho conceded a penalty, was sent off and Lille went on to win 2-1 with the spot-kick proving the catalyst for victory. Since that costly error, he has faced an uphill battle at the Parc des Princes and Laurent Blanc's arrival sealed his fate.

So he is banking on an injury crisis that takes out everyone including Lucas and Can? Can't tell if this is an act of supreme folly or not.

he has been told he will not play again this season
I very much doubt he's been told anything that definitive.

Agreed.....I'd say he's been told his place in the pecking order and thats it. For a man erroneously banned from playing, you'd think he would want to get back ASAP.
Staying at a club that supposedly definitely won't play him seems ludicrous.
