I've mentioned it before and he reminds me so much of Beardsley. I'd dare say he has the potential to be one of our best ever players.

His touch is sublime, lovely feet. Awareness is fantastic, movement is brilliant, always looks for the ball never shirks it. He works his ****ing arse off too, can tackle and isn't afraid to get the foot in, great with both feet and has a cool beard.

Lallana is a good player and should definitely be in the starting line up.

The one complaint I have with him is the same I have with all our attacking players, need to start posting numbers on the board. Otherwise there's no point them playing in the final third.

Against alot of teams.. no

he is one of very few players who can create something for us. he must be in the starting 11 for every game unless broken.

he did waste possession a few times but maybe thats just something we have to accept.

if we can just leave lucas as the dm and play gerrard closer to lallana then one can help the other to close down quickly if the other loses possession. our midfield often sat too deep, and this is against bournemouth. rodgers needs to point out these little issues and make them more aware.

Probably not, we need a striker on instead. I think Lallana should get the nod over coutinho at the moment.

That first goal was lush, not only because of Markovic's pinpoint cross but the fact Bournemouth were in no trouble when Lallana received the ball. The Bourney players visibly took a breather, but one Cruyff turn later and perfect lay on to Markovic and the whole Bournemouth team looked like it was asleep.

It was a wonderful goal, it really was. Markovic's cross was fantasic, and the header by Henderson was perfection. All at the end of a 50+ pass move
