I think it's time for him to go. He's improved a lot this season so let's cash in.

The only downside is that it's another English player gone.. I'd much rather Ronaldo, Messi, Yacine Brahimi.

...dont know much about this kid, but he looks the business. BUt if he was really that good, why aren't Real, Barca, Munich or Utd/Arsenal/Chavs interested? Do players who are seemingly this good still go under the radar...? Suppose Mahrez, Payet and Kante are good recent examples...

One thing I dont like about Lallana is that he slows our play down. If you are breaking up the pitch he hasnt got the pace to go at defenders (hes a snail really) and when he is in possession he wants too many touches

Coutinho is guilty of the latter but hes quicker than Lallana

More pace for me as well , which Origi has.

Lallana flummoxes me as some things he does brilliantly but others he ****s up continuously , if he turns into a Allen squaddie I would be happy.

For me he always seems to have that one extra touch that either takes him away from goal or slows the play down causing an opportunity to disappear. I'm not sure if it's a lack of confidence or something that he has always done.

Firmy had an ok 6 out of 10 game. Coutinho was a 4 at best from minute 1 to minute [whenever Firmy got subbed]. Klopp needed to take off the bottler but took off the trier. Can't complain about us bottling it after that faux pas.

Usually one has a good game, one is ok an the other is anonymous, sometimes 2 have a good game but as you say never all 3. I think they are all trying to play in the sam espace too much, we need to split the 3 up and have players who offer different things, pace, width etc that way we can stretch the opposition, because as good as those three are individually they all want to play through the middle which makes it easy for teams to defend against. Obviously there are somethings you can't defend against like some of the worldies that Coutinho has scored this year. But there is a lack of consistency to all of them. Lallana is a difficult one to judge because he probably works hardest of the three, but that is offset somewhat by the fact that the other two are technically better

Probably why we're being linked with players like Silva, Brahini and Moura. Players that can move forward with the ball and use their power and control to fashion a chance.

What's with all of the Lallana to Spurs questions prior to the Europa League Final? Even Klopp joked about it with him. The story originated from that rag, so I don't get it.

Does anyone really think Lallana will leave?

The only way we'd win the league with Origi and Ings as 2 of a forward 3 is if the 3rd striker was Luis Suarez.

He's a good squad option but shouldn't be a starter for us in an ideal world. We can't change the whole team though so he'll play plenty next season. As others have said, he slows down the play too much and his end product is lacking. Doesn't score enough either.

Yeah, I have a bad feeling that Klopp likes his 'effort'. Shame as even as a squad player he'd bring nothing to the table. Its not as though we're in a lot of competitions next year (rather we played more youngsters in domestic cups).

He has improved this year... but Id take the 20m if on the table. Too many other players who are younger with more potential ... otherwise, I reckon Klopp can improve him further so he is still a reasonable squaddie.
