Can't think of many players more dissimilar to Gary McAllister, and the calm level-headedness he brought to the centre of the pitch.

The only downside for me would be the press. All the biting and racism stuff was a real soap opera.
If we get Suarez 2.0 then he'd be amazing. Drop Bobby into the no 10 and then blow everyone away 5-0.

Tempting, and no doubt he could still offer much, but think we need a more settled unit.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostRumour that he could be leaving Barca this summer.
He'll be 32.5 years old, would you have him back?
Would he even want to.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Your up early Fredo.
Go on then, back it up with some rationale?
Come on, I loved Luis but it was 5 years ago. He possibly couldn't even cut it in Klopp's system nowadays. People should move on and would he settle for a bit part role in our system because he wouldn't be first choice while Bobby is here.
We're not building for the short term, so it would never happen. You guys are too sentimental. Are we winning?

A very cowardly use of the word 'possibly'.Originally posted by Fredo View PostHe's getting on at 32.

Suarez could easily play in Klopp's system. His movement, and ability to create space, as well as his pressing could still work (not headless running).
It would all come down to the finances of any deal. Like I've said before, I think we're looking at younger talents like Dembele and Pulisic, but at a cut-price deal, I'd be interested if Edwards and Klopp would bring Suarez back.
Sturridge hasn't signed a new deal, and his contract expires at the end of the season. Who knows what's going on with Solanke too.
He'll (Suarez) probably end up at Juventus or something.

**** the rest of it, but if you go to 2:50 you'll see Joe Cole pick Suarez as his striker in his 5-a-side team. Quite amusing tales of Suarez's carry on in training. I ****ing love the lunatic
