Suarez in his pomp for us was amazing - I would think better than Salah and Mane. Suarez was in a team that wasn't as good and didn't create as much and genuinely dragged us up.

I used to think Suarez would be amazing in this current team - perhaps with Bobby dropping to number 10?

I think Suarez might be the best player I've ever seen for us. When you consider how he carried the team and for periods had absolute dross playing around him. People can say what they like about him, but he put life into the team where the was none and for me is a symbol of the end of Woy.

If he weren't ever a Liverpool player, we would definitely be in a worse position now. I find it amusing that the same people who were complaining in the Gerrard thread about Liverpool fans 'hating Gerrard' for not fancying him as our manager have no problem in hating Suarez, where he too did fantastic work for the club in trying times.
