They - like the United fans I know - want to shut down any conversation about Suarez because they made fools of themselves when he played for us and we were proven absolutely spot on about how good he was....whereas they used to laugh at the notion that he was better than, say, van Persie or Jelavic.

Suarez is not particularly a better player now than he was then - he just plays for a much better team. Only Messi was better than Suarez in his time with us, and Suarez is ahead of him now. Not surprised Evertonians and United fans are so red faced now.
