I don't know Mudds, read back in the Suarez thread before the Norwich match in April’12. If it wasn’t the majority, they were certainly the most vocal at that time.

• Suarez cannot be fitted into any pattern other than the 4231.
  
• He cant play up front because he wont score enough goals.
  
• He definitely cant play off the striker because his decision making is awful and his passing is crap.
  
• Ee cannot build the team around suarez because hes just too inconsistent
  
• A player like that who doesn't produce enough and keeps giving the ball back to the opposition has to be kept out of the way on the left of the 4231

In RedReet's defence, there was some chat initially around Suarez and how he'll never be prolific striker, that he lacks composure in front of goal and other such snippets. Not the majority, obv.

It was people outside of Liverpool who dismissed him, because they refused to separate the man from the footballer. He was better than people were giving him credit for, but the racism, fall-out, and biting incidents clouded people's views of his footballing abilities, which did my head in.

Suarez is such a quality quality player that it was our own downfall that we didn't replace him with someone close to having his skill's, goal's, awareness ect, ect. Instead, we spent his fee trying to improve the overall squad with sub standard players instead of like for like.

In my opinion, we need a proven quality striker who can compliment the likes of Sturridge ect, when their having an off day, tired, or injured plus, four or five squad players with the same quality or better than we already have.

I'm sure Klopp has his in's and out's sorted for next season so, let look forward to a bright future
