got a lot of grief in the ground, thought he done well, always showing for the ball, willing to take a risk, worked hard

dont think you can ask much more for a lad who's barely played all year

I thought he was handy. Offers more than Sturridge because he has a bit of pace. I'd love if he came on and scored a goal v Everton again at the weekend....... although not a 96th minute winner please - I'm hoping the game as a contest is over by HT!!!

But I'd still sell Derek in the summer. Well probably get 10 to 15m for him. Unless it's Bournemouth obviously, then it's more like 33m with 25% of any future sale.

Werner and Brewster to take divok and Daniels places in the squad

He was excellent for about 6 weeks before he got injured in 2016.

But he needed a run to find that form which he won’t get in irdinary circumstances.

We need better, someone to really give one of the front three something to think about.

          Basically another Suarez

Big Div did well enough I thought. He was clumsy in possession on a few occasions but he worked his socks off tracking back and Has the required pace that Sturridge no longer has to be played out wide.

He works hard, is a willing runner and has chipped in with some good goals but is he good enough to be back up for Bobby or push him for a starting place? No, but I would have him ahead of Sturridge.

Look at the quality City can bring off the bench. I suspect Origi, Moreno, Sturridge will all be sold in the summer... maybe Lallana too.

Was only last season they had Iheanacho on the bench and I'd argue that Origi is better.

Mahrez has been a bit **** for them so not all big money signings are great!

Has Mahrez ever had a run of matches for City though?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Thought Derek had a good game was especially pleased he got himself a goal. I think he'll definitely have a part to play in the run in. As far as next season? Given what was said above about him having a year left on his contract if a decent offer comes in for him then I think he'll be gone.

I really like him, If he is happy to fight for his place I would be very happy to have him around the squad. He seems like a good lad, and I think he has a few more levels to his game. He looked great on the Left wing ... almost Wilfred Zaha like whos to say if he gets a run of games he can push on

Yeah I thought Watford looked **** scared of him particularly second half. The way they stood off him was largely what lead to his goal. I think it would be a shame if goes at the end of the season because I don't think we've seen all he has to offer. Plus he's not a whinger.

That's part of the criteria though isn't it? The ability to be a bit part player and still have an instant impact. Origi doesn't get a run of games and won't ever but does have an impact, IMO

Would be happy for Origi(nal) to stay. He will only get better. Not sure about the Zaha comparison, I just dont get what all the hype is with him. He is lazy, his footwork just seems to deliberate/slow/predictable and he doesnt have much pace. Origi(nal) on the other hand is quick, strong and talented

Fairly sure he will start against the bitters at the weekend

I'm pretty happy with him if he's willing to be a squad player. Adds some physical presence, pace, workrate and is a reasonable footballer. That combination is not easy to defend against. I don't imagine he is on huge money, so I'd be happy for him to see out his contract (possibly extend based on how it goes) and fill gaps. I do feel he could be a really good player in a midtable team Spain, England, Italy etc. I know Wolfsburg didn't exactly work out for him, but they didn't have the best season overall, which was reflected in his performances.

Regardless, I'd like us to sign a good attacker to add some more depth and different options up top but he is a good player which could do something with more opportunties.
