I think we'll probably keep him, unless we get a nice offer i.e. £20million for him, given he has a year left.

I was full sure that we would go out and get a player like Werner in the summer.
However, perhaps we will keep Divvy and promote both Brewster and Harry Wilson to the 1st team squad?? With Oxlade coming back as well, then we would surely have enough attacking power there. It depends on how good they think Brewster can be I suppose - but didn't he stall on signing a contract a while back - with the rationale being that he wanted to see how much game time he would get. I reckon he has been given some sort of assurance from Klopp.
If that was so, then I'd expect us to spend on both the defence and midfield again. And a replacement for Mignolet too.
I can see both Lallana and Shaqiri leaving this summer to make way for a new midfielder.

I'll be surprised if Wilson ever plays a full 90 mins for us. We'll punt him for £15m - £20m in the summer.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostI was full sure that we would go out and get a player like Werner in the summer.

Origi absolutely roasted his FB when he came on. Stuck the burners on and he was 10-15m past him in seconds. Then he clubbed the cross miles over everyones head
That said, he is only getting limited game time, so expecting him to fit in seemlessly is an ask, but I'd say he is positively affecting games every time he gets on the pitch.Modifying post.

As I said in the match thread I don't understand why Sturridge started ahead of him, I get that people see him as a pacy player and thought that there would be no space in behind, but even when his pace isn't used he offers more than Sturridge.
I think next season we need to go into the season with Salah, Mane and Firmino as first choice but with someone else who can fill in for Mane/Salah in the wide areas and Brewster and Origi as other options. Obviously he might want to leave for regular football somewhere. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
