Yeah, that's fine when chasing games or off the bench to change things but over 90 he sticks out (and I'm not just thinking of tonight which is hard to judge).

If he's happy being impact player that's fine but I think we need to add a younger forward and that needs to be at the expense of someone.

Football always has a squad turnover, its just the game.

Over the last 2 seasons (last and this) he is 34 games and ten goals. Most of the 34 will be from the bench.

Goals including nerve settling second in the CL Final.
2 v Barca in one of the best games I have seen in my life.
        Crucial late winner v Everton,
        Crucial late winner v Newcastle
2 playing with a bunch of kids v Arsenal in 5-5 thriller. Including last minute equaliser.

We compress the **** out of teams in the last 15 minutes so for me, Origi is ideal as he'll be guaranteed to be in the thick of it and with his knack of scoring, he's an ideal player to throw on.

For me there’s no question of his value to our squad. He scores vital goals and offers something completely different to our other strikers. Who else would be happy with a bit part as 4th choice striker & be as effective when it counts?

He offers something completely different to the first choice front 3. I would like to see him through the middle more often when coming on

He looked decent through the middle

All that and he's a lovely person too.

I agree with the sentiments with him being in the middle.

I thought he was absolute garbage for most of the game, but seemed to affect things more when in the middle.

I'm still not sold on him tbh, but like others have said, he's happy to accept his role, which is difficult to find.

Superb turn & hit for his first & a stunner to save our asses for the 2nd. And a sweet penalty with the pressure on.

The control and technique for both goals was excellent, although both goals pretty much went through the keeper who should have done better. But no doubt that he has a hell of a record for goals that get us out of a hole, which is a very nice habit.

Signed for us, sent out on loan. I think he was named one of the worst players in the French league by some paper. Joined us. Did not exactly play well. Worked his way into being the first choice under Klopp. Finally his career seemed on track and that Everton defender broke his leg. Came back to find that his spot was taken by Firmino. Sent out on loan again and did not perform well. Was offered to clubs like Wolves but he decided to reject that and work his way back. Scores in the CL final and gently ambles away as if he has scored in training.

Most young players don't recover from the kind of setbacks he has faced. He has an unflappable mentality which I think is one of the reasons why he is scoring some proper "clutch" (to borrow from US sports) goals. Can't buy that attitude and mentality. Incredible asset to have particularly in a striker.

Plus he's now seen as a cult figure and to some, a Liverpool legend!

If I was a Newcastle or Villa, then I'd go all out to sign Origi. He would be a low risk buy for a club like that.

I'm happy to have origi. He is different to our front 3 so changes the way we play. That is fine for when we want to go direct and try to force a goal late on in a game. Its brilliant.

But if one of our front 3 were injured for a long time, then it wouldn't be so great because as we saw against United, take one of them away and it changes the other two as well.

If brewster pushes on, then it's possible Divock will be further pushed down and will look to move on
