It's really difficult, maybe impossible to judge how good he really is as he's had so little game time. But he clearly deserves the chance to prove that his key contributions this season are representative of his level.

he has earned it. And i think he has proven that he knows the way to goal. Is he better than the current front three - probably not, but not many are and he is a very solid backup . And his directness and pace offer something a bit different when needed.

It makes the decisions to play Sturridge last year at times all the more bizzare but fair ****s to him. His efforts last season deserve reward alone and he could have easily saw out his contract for a sizable pay day so I really hope it works out for him but there's a lot of work to do yet.

I think he'd be far more effective on the right than the left. He wants to stop and check back when he could be driving at the defence. Just my thought

His confidence is a good point. Classic example of that was the back post shambles in the second, if he'd screamed, "my ball" he'd have had another goal.

Yep totally agree it should have been a goal & the call was his to make. Too passive in situations like that but that seems to be his nature.

He's also a giant and built as strong as Lukaku. He should have kicked Firmino and the ball into the back of the net and then shouted MINE!
