Yeah, engagement ring, wedding ring, a couple of swanky watches a necklace or two. Easy enough to get there considering his wage.

        Because it's worth £0.5m.

Surely unless you live in a bank vault, common sense would dictate that leaving it around the place might not be prudent. Especially when you come from Brazil.

I've lost track of how many players have had their house done over, you'd think the club would be advising the players better in terms of security.

So I shouldn't store anything in my home that I don't want stolen? £500k to me or you is clearly a lot of money but to a top level footballer?

For the sake of comparison, my home probably has roughly 1 years salary worth of stuff inside, compared to his 1 month. He can afford it, why should he be forced to live within the means of what others are willing to risk prison for? Where else is that even a thing? I have no doubt he will be insured, its the scum that robbed from him that need their heads checking, not him (IMO).

Insured? I'd actually be doubtful that he'd even bothered. The company I work for has some VERY strict regulations from our insurers about the cash etc we hold on site and how it's secured even though the value would always be less than £0.5m at any given time.

I would therefore be very surprised if anyone would insure him without some extremely thorough security stipulations.

And what about stuff with sentimental value - high value weddings rings and the like? You can't buy insurance for emotions so far as I'm aware.

Whatever money he earns or was stolen, it's still the case where someone has broken into his home. Whatever way you want to swing it it's a huge invasion of someones personal life & that feeling of unease within his family certainly won't help his form on the pitch.

Robbing footballers does seem to be a bit of a boom industry in the north west. Do any of them ever get caught?
                    Oh I don't know.

Jaysus, whoever is the brains in the gangs of these robberies obviously don't do risk assessments over a few pints in their local!!!

                        Eejits!

I can picture them sitting down in a corner of their local plotting & organising a robbery with FAIL written across them about not doing a risk assessment!

a good player when hes on top of his game but when he is less than 100% he often seems lost out there. miss hit passes everywhere.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Especially the ones stupid enough to try and rob Duncan Ferguson
