I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

That's not what I said at all. What I said was for all the people condemning him I wonder if they've jumped in the car at 7 am to get to work after a skinful the night before which would leave you over the limit and just as guilty as driving the same evening (I paraphased this). People are quick to judge and call him a cunt etc... Whilst having done very similar themselves.

£100 cab fare when you're on £100k is like 60p to someone on an ordinary wage. Mental for him to have taken that risk. But he did, it'll cost him more and presumably he'll learn his lesson through the lack of freedom that being able to drive gives you. I hope it doesn't make him start to think about moving on

Well they're cunts too I guess. People get called cunts for saying something a bit daft on Sky or in an interview. I'm not sure why we'd object to using the word for someone who has endangered the lives of others by driving under the influence of alcohol.

I wasn't quoting you btw, rather Gibbo's interpretation of your post.

I have and pretty much knew that I'd be over. Not proud of it and now won't consider driving for at least 12hrs if I've been very drunk.

Zero tolerance is unnecessary, imo. I drove home from my parents yesterday having had two bottles of beer over the course of 8hrs, with no alcohol during the last 4hrs. I would've had traces but my driving would've been far better than someone who'd delayed having an eye test or someone tired.

Australia is generally about 30 years behind the civilised world when it comes to such attitudes though.

It's a shame his form has taken a slight dip....could have been 3 or 4 yesterday if he was on it. I actually think he could do with a one game break but he's a such an integral part of the team that he can't be dropped.
