A modern day Ian Rush. Without the killer instinct perhaps, but same role, no?Really?Comment

Same for me too.
I think the big difference is having similar players around him so he is part of a functional unit.

Agree with this
Firmino has been very good over the last couple of months. Hope this consistency continues (last season, he was our best player up to Christmas 16! He then turned to muck). Best to judge him at the end of the season.Last edited by Rigadon; 27-12-17, 07:39 AM.Another MASSIVE game

I honestly think he is raising the games of those around him like Salah, Mane and Coutinho. He puts a shift like a grafter yet has the touch of a proper footballer.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.Comment

Should have scored just before half time and so close with a header from a TAA cross. He deserves a hattrick for sure.
My only concern is his state of mind when Coutinho leaves. They have a great friendship off the pitch and a solid understanding on the pitch, let's hope Keita likes fashion! Was muComment

Just cogs, but cogs of a precision timepiece. They all fit together and make each other work correctly.
The midfielders are cogs, from an antique lawnmower. Non of them mesh together very well.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
