Not a single post on here tells a tale. He was off his game yesterday and was really sloppy with his passes.

Yesterday was just a game too far for some of the lads. They'd given everything in this campaign but lacked some quality around them. We're a bit close to the world cup and I wonder if yesterday had been different if the wprld cup wasn't looming close

Bobby has looked exhausted for weeks now. Over played throughout the season because of lack of quality in squad. He struggled last night.

Too many long balls in his direction last night....meat and drink for the Madrid scum

His touches were off early on, but still looked sharp enough in terms of positioning. Once Salah went off, he dropped way too deep, and then Real bodies were near him. Dealing with Firmino and Mane was manageable for Real, as they didn't have to think about Salah anymore.

Yep. That's what happens when you have absolutely no credible alternative.

Was doing alright until Mo went off. He fights hard for the ball but needs Mo causing havoc to give him a choice of outlets. Without Mo or a like minded replacement the fundamentals of our attack don’t exist. Firmino drops deep, Salah and Mane run in behind.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Fitness wasn't an issue last night. Don't peddle that myth again.

Wasn't tiredness. He was just too relaxed like some of our other players. In order to stay calm we might have gone too far the other way. He misplaced more passes in this one game than he had done for months. But when fate conspires against you (Karius, Salah, Bale) then you weren't going to win anyway. Just ask Milan in 2005.

But if there is balance in the universe then Bobby will be scoring the goal that flukes us a league title next season.
                                One tit for another.
