"How much do you know about Liverpool and its history, honours and fans?"

"How will it feel to play in red again?"

"Have your heard about the famous Kop? How much are you looking forward to playing in front of them?"

I did like one of his 3rd person answers though!

"Roberto Firmino is a player who works hard and who’s constantly looking to support his teammates on the pitch. He’s a player with an attitude and who knows how to play a tactical role with the team. You will soon have the opportunity to see him play."

My personal favourite from the Wimbledon match day programmes of the 80s was "What is your pre match meal?". Players just don't seem to get asked about the important stuff like that anymore.
    Oh I don't know.

Didn't Fowler wear number 11 when he came back? That's good enough for me.

They could have asked him why you do always pose the same for all of your photos, or why do you carry so many mobile phones?
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

They could have, but they'd have sounded daft.

The questions are a nightmare and provides absolute cannon fodder for opposition fans to take the piss. Do other big clubs do the same?

If anything the questions are getting worse and more embarrassing. Fist in the mouth stuff.

not sure you get to comment on this, having personally chased out the only comm director who was any good at this.

Did you feel a gush of wind go past your head when you wrote the above post ?

Or hear a 'whooosh' sound ?

I was pedantically referring to your turn of phrase being the reason for the question sounding daft.

                              As in..

'why you do always pose the same'

I used to like bbc's fa cup interviews with the team captain, where we found out interesting stuff (interesting for me w hen I was a kid) like what are the players nicknames, what practical jokes they play and who is worst to share a room with.
