Anyone else think the opposition player **** himself when Sakho burned it off the screen at 1:20?

        Same here.

I liked what I saw in those 15 minutes he played.

Will need to adjust to physical aspect of PL but skills are there.

He'll definitely add another dimension to our attack but I do hope BR and fans will be patient with him as he will need some time to adopt.

Which is why I think he shouldn't be starting matches yet. A few calling for him to start v Bournemouth but it's too early IMO. Ease him in & downplay the expectations.

Home game against relegation fodder who like to play ball rather than kick lumps out of teams and go direct. I think its the perfect game for him to start and get some good minutes under his belt.

I don't think he'll start the next couple of games, half an hour or so for the bench against Bournmouth is probably most likely, then it's Arsenal away which isn't a game to start him in so I suspect we will see him introduced slowly. West Ham game is probably the first opportunity for him to get a start IMO.

Way too sensible. Throw him in the deep end & bag him when he fails.

That's the way I see it as well, we have a full week between games, give him 60 mins against Bournemouth and let's see against Arsenal. He and Coutinho came in at the same time didn't they?

That's how I see it too. Maybe if Ibe and/or Lallana don't perfom against Bournemouth and he looks good when he comes on, he could push for a start against Arsenal, but for now I think we'll ease him in gently.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yeah, I feel a bit sorry for Lallana. He seems to have been written off already; after one game. Ibe was also poor too that game.

I think Lallana has goals in him, and if he plays enough, is one of the few midfielders in our team capable of getting double figures.

The way I see it we are not writing anyone off, we have a bigger squad than ever and if there was ever a need to rotate it's now. Those two are the most obvious ones to change IMO.

Its nice going into a PL game not caring* which of our forwards play.

Our options have improved dramatically from last season, even if we don't achieve top four now we have something to build on for the season after.
